This strategic line was advanced by the Workers' Party of Korea in March Juche 102 (2013), and its validity has been displayed in the recent showdown of three years with the U.S. imperialists wielding a nuclear stick.

The Uruguayan newspaper La Juventud said in an article:

It is a quite reasonable and wise choice that the DPRK decided to bolster up the nuclear force qualitatively and quantitatively under the grave situation in which the U.S., the world's biggest nuclear weapons state, has posed an escalating nuclear threat to it.

The new strategic line is the most realistic one suited to the actual conditions of the DPRK whose goal is to build a thriving socialist nation.

The world will clearly see the DPRK successfully build a thriving socialist nation while mercilessly smashing the imperialists and their followers' threat of war by dint of its powerful deterrent.

The Venezuelan newspaper Vea said:

After the DPRK conducted an H-bomb test the world has wondered over how the DPRK could develop the updated technology, a monopoly of big powers.

Supreme leader Kim Jong Un said that the DPRK's H-bomb test is a self-defensive measure to reliably ensure peace of the Korean Peninsula and regional security from the U.S.-led imperialists' nuclear threat.

The test is an essential and normal process for defending the sovereignty of the country and vital rights of the nation from outsiders' threat.

The Anti-Imperialist Forum of Germany posted an article on its website:

Through their protracted struggle, the Korean people have experienced the truth of history that self-development makes one a victor; lack of it makes one a slave and that a powerful state is characterized by the greatness of its leader, the might of single-minded unity and tremendous military strength.

The first H-bomb explosion in the DPRK, three years after the adoption of its new line, jolted the world.

The chairman of the Al Hadi Islam Propaganda Organization of Iran said:

The DPRK ranked itself among the advanced nuclear weapons states by succeeding in the H-bomb test, a noteworthy event that demonstrated its inexhaustible military strength before the world.

The U.S. threatening offensive will never take effect on the DPRK as it is wisely led by respected His Excellency Kim Jong Un and has tremendous military strength.

Takashi Nada, representative of the Ehime Institute for Contemporary Korean Issue in Japan, said:

It is quite legitimate for the DPRK to make a choice of access to nukes in defence of the nation's dignity and sovereignty from the U.S. daily-escalating nuclear threat and blackmail.

I pay respects to the party and people of the DPRK vigorously advancing under the new line of simultaneously developing the two fronts.
