Commendations to Contributors to Successful Power Station Project

| Pyongyang, April 1 (KCNA) -- The title of DPRK labor hero, Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize, Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize and other titles of honor, orders and medals were awarded to the shock brigade members and commanding officials who performed labor feats in the construction of power stations in tiers on the Chongchon River, workers and officials of the units concerned, scientists and technicians who contributed to the construction. According to a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly on March 25, the title of DPRK labor hero went to 5, Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize to 5, Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize to 4, title of People's Designer to 1, title of Merited Designer to 1, title of Merited Scientist to 2, title of Merited Builder to 3, title of Merited Driver to 7, Order of National Flag First Class to 179, Order of Labour to 236, Order of National Flag Second Class to 1,432, Order of National Flag Third Class to 2,824, Distinguished Military Service Medal to 4 and Merit Medal to 2,764. |
