Kim Il Sung's Exploits Praised by Swiss Organizations

| Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) -- The Swiss preparatory committee for the 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu, Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on March 26 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung. The statement said that Kim Il Sung was the great hero and liberator of the Korean nation who was acclaimed and held in high esteem by the Korean people for the first time in the nation's history spanning 5 000 years. It went on: He defeated the two formidable imperialist enemies in one generation. He was the brilliant Songun commander who founded the revolutionary armed force of the DPRK, liberated the country from the colonial rule by the Japanese imperialists and led the Fatherland Liberation War against the U.S. imperialists' aggression to victory. The preparations for adding shine to his immortal exploits and significantly greeting the above-said meeting are brisk worldwide. We will make a positive contribution to it. |
