U.S.-S. Korea Joint War Drills against DPRK Condemned by Brazilian Organization, Figure

| Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) -- An organization and figure of Brazil strongly condemned the U.S.-south Korea Key Resolve and Foal Eagle 16 joint military exercises. The Brazilian Centre for Peace and Solidarity with Peoples said in a statement on March 23: We resolutely denounce the U.S.-south Korea joint military drills. By staging the military drills the U.S. and south Korean authorities brought into bold relief their war-thirsty nature encroaching upon the sovereignty of the DPRK and harassing the regional peace and security. We demand the U.S. conclude a peace treaty with the DPRK and withdraw its troops from south Korea. We support the peaceful reunification of Korea and extend full support to the Korean people's just cause. Rosanita Campos, vice-president of the Party for Free Motherland of Brazil, in a statement on the same day said that the U.S. imperialists are leaving no means untried to stifle the DPRK, adding that the U.S. will not bring down socialist Korea. |
