British Organizations Censure Sanctions against DPRK

Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Korean Friendship Association UK on March 25 made public a joint statement denouncing the U.S. imperialists and their lackeys for ratcheting up the sanctions against the DPRK.

The statement said the U.S. and its followers are working hard to stifle the DPRK by slapping unilateral sanctions in the wake of railroading UNSC's "sanctions resolution" No. 2270 against the DPRK.

The UNSC's "resolution" is nothing but a criminal document devoid of impartiality, legality and morality as it assumed retaliatory character banned by international law in the light of its contents and method of application, it noted, adding:

All the progressive organizations in the UK reject and denounce all the UNSC's resolutions on sanctions against the DPRK as they wantonly violate its sovereignty and international law.
