S. Korean Regime Accused of Escalating Confrontation with DPRK

Pyongyang, April 3 (KCNA) -- The South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration held a press conference outside the Sejong Cultural Hall in Seoul on March 31 protesting against the Park Geun Hye regime's confrontational moves against the compatriots in the north, according to south Korean Yonhap News.

The speakers there termed a confab to be held by the chief executives of the U.S., Japan and south Korea to slap harsher "sanctions against the north" a reckless act to drive the situation on the Korean peninsula to a dangerous phase.

The only way of defusing the tension on the peninsula is to conclude a peace pact with the north, they added.
