Bulgarian Figure Slams U.S.-S. Korea Joint Military Drills

| Pyongyang, April 4 (KCNA) -- Atanas Ivanov, honorary chairman of the Bulgarian Communists Union, made public a statement on March 29 denouncing the U.S. imperialists and south Korean puppet forces for their war moves against the DPRK. The statement said: The U.S.-south Korea joint military drills being staged on the Korean peninsula are escalating confrontation between the north and the south. The DPRK has the right to self-defense. The U.S.-south Korea joint military drills are dangerous ones. The service personnel and people of the DPRK will never remain a passive onlooker to the drills. The south Korean authorities are to blame for the present situation. They should immediately stop the reckless acts for confrontation. |
