The article accused the U.S., Japanese and south Korean authorities of getting closeted to intensify "sanctions against the north" at a time when the nuclear confrontation has reached the worst phase on the peninsula.

It said that the past history proves the issue cannot be settled through the sanctions and military pressure on the north.

The U.S. hostile policy toward the north compelled it to have access to nuclear weapons, it said, urging the U.S. to roll back its hostile policy toward the north and opt for negotiations for concluding a peace treaty on the peninsula.

It demanded the U.S., Japan and south Korea stop at once the moves for building the triangular missile defense system and military alliance.
