Five figures including L. Shukolinikov, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Workers' Party of Belarus who doubles as chairman of the Belarus National Association of Friends of Korean People Named after Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, were elected co-chairpersons of the preparatory committees.

The committee decided to send a congratulatory message to Marshal Kim Jong Un on major occasions and hold functions to praise the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu.

It also decided to give wide publicity to the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and successes being registered by the Korean people in building a thriving socialist nation and accomplishing the cause of national reunification.
