U.S. Nuclear Threat to DPRK Blamed by Peruvian Political Figures

Pyongyang, April 6 (KCNA) -- Genaro Ledesma Izquieta, chairman of the People's Front of Workers, Peasants and Students of Peru, and Cati Campos Rontop, general secretary of the front, issued a joint statement on March 31 in denunciation of the U.S. nuclear threat to the DPRK.

The statement stated:

The U.S. nuclear threat and blackmail against the DPRK have lasted for more than half a century.

The U.S. stages the large-scale joint military exercises with south Korea by involving huge aggression forces every year and has prepared for a nuclear strike at the DPRK.

However, the invincible DPRK has bolstered up its military muscle in every way by dint of the might of Songun and thus resolutely smashed the U.S. nuclear threat.

We fully support the DPRK's stance for coping with the U.S. moves for aggression.
