The university has made significant achievements in a work to improve the teaching methods and educational conditions and environment in 40 days after the start of the 70-day campaign in the country.

Ninety-six advanced teaching methods were invented in recent one week and at least 17,800 teaching plans in hundreds of subjects were put on a practical, comprehensive and modern basis. And a work is progressing at the final stage to make more than 40,000 e-teaching programs.

Educators in the social sciences developed a new support program for education in the revolutionary history, which stores huge amount of data including the works of the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu.

Meanwhile, a computer-aided examination system for hundreds of subjects was completed and scores of kinds of experimental equipment and appliances were manufactured.

The university also created much more generating capacity with use of natural energy to put its administration on an IT basis and keep the operation of tele-education system and educational information system on a regular basis.

Its general goal is to implement the tasks set forth by supreme leader Kim Jong Un in August Juche 103 (2014) to bring about a drastic turn in education in the new century.
