Youth league organizations at all levels and school youth and children prepared 640 trees of 20 species including evergreen tall trees, fruit trees and beautiful flower shrubs and more than 5,000 gardening tools of 28 kinds, prompted by the will to spruce up the area of the palace where President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il lie in state.

Officials of the Pyongyang City Committee of the youth league and school youth and children in the city donated at least 200 trees.
