The official representative of the Italy-DPRK Association for Friendship and Solidarity who holds the same post at the Italian Branch of the Korean Friendship Association was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee decided to give wide publicity to the revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and hold colorful political and cultural events.
