Minju Joson Discloses Intention behind U.S. Talk about "Provocation" and "Threat" from DPRK

Pyongyang, April 9 (KCNA) -- Obama and other riff-raffs of the White House are vying with each other in describing the DPRK's just countermeasures for self-defence as a "provocation" and "threat" in a bid to galvanize the public opinion. Minju Joson Saturday observes in a commentary in this regard: This is a trite method of the U.S. to cover up its true colors as aggressor and provocateur as well as sheer sophism of those who were driven into the tight corner after being browbeaten by the DPRK's toughest counteraction. The fair public of the world is unanimous in asserting that the U.S. is bringing the dark clouds of a nuclear war to hang over the Korean peninsula. The U.S., finding itself in a predicament in the face of the strong condemnation by the international community, is working hard to shift the blame for the tension on the Korean peninsula on to the DPRK and get out of the tight corner at any cost by loudly vociferating about the "provocation" and threat" from the DPRK. However, the U.S. trumpeting about "provocation" and "threat" is just a far cry and can never help it conceal its true colors as aggressor. The U.S. is terming the DPRK a "provocateur" but this is not a way out. What is left to be done by the U.S. now is just to recollect with cool mind the whole historical course of its anti-DPRK confrontation in which it suffered only defeats, and to drop its anachronistic hostile policy toward the DPRK. For the U.S. to escalate military confrontation with the DPRK, dignified military power of Juche and invincible nuclear weapons state possessed of even H-bomb, is little short of a suicidal act of pulling the U.S. into the bottomless abyss of destruction. |
