The general secretary of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, the general secretary of the C.C., the Bangladesh Communist Party, Khaleq Zaman Bhuiyan, general secretary of the C.C., the Socialist Party of Bangladesh, Mostafa Jamal Haider, secretary general of the Bangladesh Jatiya Party, Garib Newaz, president of the Bangladesh People's League, and MD. Harun-Ar-Rashid, chairman of the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee, were elected co-chairmen of the preparatory committee.

The preparatory committee decided to hold a meeting, rally for solidarity, film show and other colorful events on the occasion of the Seventh Congress of the WPK.
