Swiss Bodies Urge U.S. to Take Hands Off Korea

Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea made public a joint statement on April 2 to denounce the U.S. moves for shifting the blame for the aggravated situation on the Korean peninsula on to the DPRK.

The statement said:

The U.S. describes the DPRK's just measures for self-defence to cope with the U.S. and its allies' extreme moves for war of aggression and sanctions to stifle the DPRK as "provocations" and "threats".

This is the height of shamelessness.

The U.S. has threatened the DPRK with nukes since early in the 1950s.

The U.S.-south Korea joint military drills Key Resolve and Foal Eagle 16 are parts of this criminal scenario.

All the facts show that the U.S. is the arch criminal escalating the tension on the Korean peninsula.

We fully support the DPRK's counter-measures to protect its sovereignty and dignity.

The U.S. should take hands off Korea!
