Day of Sun to Be Celebrated in Russia

| Pyongyang, April 11 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun) was formed by the Maritime Territorial branch of the All-Russia Women's Council "Hope of Russia" on April 7. T. N. Esikova, chairwoman of the branch, was elected chairwoman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold colorful political and cultural events to praise the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Il Sung who dedicated his whole life to the accomplishment of the cause of human independence on the occasion of the Day of the Sun. |
