The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said this in a joint statement on April 3.

The statement said:

The DPRK requested the UNSC to convene an emergency meeting as regards the fact that the U.S. is kicking off the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle 16 joint military exercises for aggression despite the international community's unanimous denunciation.

However, the UNSC turned down the complaint of the DPRK.

This clearly proved that the UNSC is the puppet and stooge of the U.S.

The UNSC forfeited all its moral prestige, legality and even impartiality as it was reduced into the bugler of the U.S. imperialists' criminal and aggressive war policy and state-sponsored terrorism.

There are no political and legal justifications for taking sanctions against the DPRK as the measures taken by it for self-defense are aimed at protecting its sovereignty and ensuring peace on the Korean peninsula.

The DPRK will as ever exercise its just right to self-defense.
