This clearly proves that Japan is the sworn enemy of the Koreans as it has a long history of aggression against Korea and inflicted unspeakable misfortune and pain on them, says Minju Joson Wednesday in a commentary.

It goes on:

Many Koreans met a grievous death at the hands of ferocious man-killers and more than 100 000 Koreans including technicians were abducted and taken away to Japan. It severely destroyed and looted material resources and valuable cultural heritages of Korea.

Many years have passed since then but the Korean people are vividly remembering the shuddering atrocities committed by the Japanese aggressors against the Koreans.

The Japanese reactionaries, however, do not have any guilty conscience of the hideous crimes against the Korean people in the past.

They are resorting to a sleight of hand to evade the responsibility to redeem their past crimes while openly denying the hideous crimes against humanity by enforcing a colonial rule over Korea after illegally occupying it in the past century, to say nothing of the crimes they perpetrated centuries ago.

History can never be written off nor be distorted.

The Japanese reactionaries had better honestly acknowledge the crimes Japan has committed against the Korean nation, teach the young Japanese in such a way as not to reinvade Korea and settle all the past crimes.
