Present there on invitation were Yang Hyong Sop, vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly; Kim Jong Suk, chairwoman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries; Sin Hong Chol, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, and officials concerned.

Present there were Cuban Vice-Minister of Culture Carvajal Perez Kenelma on a visit to the DPRK and Cuban embassy officials.

The Cuban ambassador said Kim Il Sung was the distinguished strategist and great master of idea and theory.

The fraternal relations forged by Comrade Kim Il Sung together with Comrade Fidel Castro will be a symbol of the ever-lasting friendship between the two countries, he said.

He noted that the revolutionary exploits performed by Kim Il Sung would be immortal, hoping that the Korean people would win victory in all struggles under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Yang Hyong Sop said the Cuban people's significant celebration of the Day of the Sun together with the Korean people is an expression of boundless reverence for Kim Il Sung.

Kim Il Sung, who performed undying and great exploits on behalf of the country and its people, era and history, will always be remembered by the Korean people and other progressives in the world as the eternal sun of Juche, Yang noted, adding:

The Korean people will make every possible effort to boost the militant friendship and solidarity with the Cuban people true to the noble intentions of the great leaders and Kim Jong Un.
