All the participants observed a moment's silence in memory of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

The conference reviewed the work done by the Party Committee of the KPA.

A reporter recalled that since the Sixth Congress of the WPK the KPA has grown to be the army of the leader and the party faithfully carrying forward the bloodline of Paektu under the outstanding and seasoned leadership of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and respected Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un.

Speakers unanimously stressed that the KPA is demonstrating its might as an elite powerful revolutionary army thanks to the immortal Songun revolutionary leadership exploits of the great leaders and the supreme commander, referring to the successes and experience gained in the past work.

There was an election of the leadership body of the Party Committee of the KPA at the conference.

It elected delegates and nominated observers to the Seventh Congress of the WPK.

Hwang Pyong So, director of the General Political Bureau of the KPA, made a speech on electing supreme leader Kim Jong Un as delegate to the Seventh Congress of the WPK.

He said:

Kim Jong Un's election as delegate to the congress is an expression of absolute trust and intense loyalty by all party members and service personnel of the KPA.

He proposed electing as delegate to the Seventh Congress of the WPK Kim Jong Un, the great leader of the revolutionary cause of Juche and symbol of mightiness and dignity of the great Paektusan nation, reflecting the unanimous will and desire of all participants in the conference and service personnel.

Speakers fully supported the proposal to elect Kim Jong Un as delegate to the congress.

A decision to elect Kim Jong Un as delegate to the congress was adopted with a unanimous approval.

Officers and service personnel who have devoted themselves to battle preparations and to the work for bolstering up the combat capability of the KPA were elected and nominated as delegates and observers to the congress.
