Japan Accused of Its Moves to Suspend Subsides to Korean Schools

| Tokyo, April 13 (KNS-KCNA) -- Those concerned of Korean schools in Japan held a press conference in Tokyo on April 12 in protest against the Japanese authorities' base discrimination policy. At the conference a member of the Secretariat of the Korean Human Rights Association in Japan recalled that the Japanese government excluded only Korean schools from the tuition-free program for senior high schools and sent a notice to self-governing bodies across Japan on March 29, revealing its attempt to stop the payment of subsides to Korean schools. He demanded the Japanese government immediately lift the unreasonable discriminating step against Korean schools. |
