Important Days of DPRK Observed by Russian Newspapers
Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- Russian newspapers carried special write-ups on the occasion of the Day of the Sun (the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung) and the Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Komsomolskaya Pravda on April 5 devoted one whole page to an article titled "Smile of the sun" illustrated with a portrait of smiling Kim Il Sung.

Saying that the sun-like smile of the President can be seen everywhere in the DPRK, it noted that the Korean people have held the President in high esteem forever.

It stressed that the President's broad smile would always be remembered by the Korean people and progressive mankind along with the reality of the DPRK in which everything is undergoing a dramatic change and a leap forward is being made towards a thriving socialist state.

Byvor on April 1 devoted one whole page to an article titled "Ushering in great heyday of construction" and photos showing the Sci-Tech Complex, Mirae Scientists Street, the Youth Movement Museum and the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace, illustrated with a photo of supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

Tomskaya Nedeli on April 1 carried a special write-up with one whole page illustrated with a photo of the President.

In an article titled "Self-development of the DPRK" it noted that the self-development means the strength to grow oneself stronger and the self-development of the DPRK is rooted on the Juche idea.
