Preparatory Committee for 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu Formed in Russia

| Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for the 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu was inaugurated by the Russian Group for Solidarity with the DPRK on April 7. Revedev, chief of the group, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold colorful political and cultural events to praise the sacred revolutionary careers and immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il between April 7, 2016 and April 30, 2017 and conduct brisk activities for supporting the Korean people in their just cause. |
