Presented to the exhibition were more than 450 sugar sculptures and at least 120 cake sculptures created by hundreds of technicians and cooks from 40 odd units.

Sugar and cake sculptures of Okryu Restaurant, Chongryu Restaurant, Kumsong Foodstuff Factory and Pyongyang Wheat Flour Processing Factory bore a close resemblance to art pieces.

Scuptures of provincial food factories also deeply impressed the visitors.

There were demonstration performances by cooks and technicians of units which proved successful at the exhibition.
