Korean Book, Photo, Stamp and Handicraft Exhibition Opens in Russia
Moscow, April 15 (KCNA) -- A Korean book, photo, stamp and handicraft exhibition was opened with due ceremony in Moscow on April 12 on the occasions of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun) and the Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.

On display in the venue of the exhibition were photos dealing with the exploits of the President, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed there were their works, and books and photos introducing the true picture of the DPRK, stamps celebrating the Day of the Sun and showing the DPRK-Russia friendship and handicrafts associated with wisdom and talents of the Korean people.

Present at the opening ceremony of the exhibition were figures of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia and a Russian university and masses and staff members of the DPRK embassy in Moscow.

The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and paid homage to them.

The directors of the International Affairs Department and the Information Department of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia and other speakers said that Kim Il Sung performed the immortal exploits for the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence.

The exhibition will offer an opportunity for the Russian people to know better about the friendly DPRK, they said, wishing the Korean people greater successes in the building of a thriving socialist nation united close around Kim Jong Un.
