The Korean people and world progressives celebrate with splendor the Day of the Sun, the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, in April every year.

The President was the distinguished thinker and theoretician as he brightly indicated the way of mankind by founding the Juche idea.

He liberated the country, built the genuine people's country and brought about the beginning of a downhill turn for the U.S. imperialists for the first time in history.

He regarded it as his motto to believe in the people as in Heaven and devoted his all to their happiness.

Lots of people admired his noble personality, warm humanity and broad magnanimity and noble internationalist sense of obligation.

The Egyptian newspaper Al Akhbar Al Massay on March 28 and the Nigerian newspaper Nigerian Observer on April 1 carried articles titled "Valuable life of great President Kim Il Sung" and "President Kim Il Sung and a Japanese".
