Kim Jong Un Sends Birthday Spread to Anti-Japanese Revolutionary Fighter

Pyongyang, April 16 (KCNA) -- Anti-Japanese revolutionary fighter Ri Yong Suk greeted her centenarian birthday. Supreme leader Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to her who has devotedly worked for the party and the leader, the country and its people as befitting the first generation of the revolution. She was born in an alien land in Juche 5 (1916) and lived in sorrow as a member of a stateless nation. She embarked upon the road of revolution in her teens, grew up to be a member of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army prepared politically and ideologically under the loving care of President Kim Il Sung and anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk and took part in the final attack operation for liberating the country. She worked hard for the building of a new country and socialist construction and remained loyal to the great leaders while working as official of the party and administration cadre. She received Order of Kim Il Sung, the title of labor hero and other party and state commendations. Kim Jong Un made sure that Order of Kim Jong Il was awarded to her and invited her to participate in the celebrations of the centenary of the birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung, the celebrations of the 70th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea and other major events as delegates. The birthday spread sent by Kim Jong Un was conveyed to her on Saturday. |
