Among artistes attending the festival is Peruvian female soloist Tuesta Otiniano Rosa Teresa.

She put on the stage the Korean song "Leader, the Night Is Far Advanced", which was highly acclaimed by audience.

Tuesta Otiniano Rosa Teresa chose the song with her mother who told her many stories about the DPRK, and began learning the Korean language out of reverence for Kim Il Sung.

She said that she worried about her premiere, but was greatly applauded by audience, adding: I will attend the next festival with more Korean songs.
