Present there on invitation were congratulatory groups of Koreans in Japan and China for celebrating the Day of the Sun, a delegation of the Federation of Koreans in the U.S. and other overseas Koreans delegations and overseas Koreans staying in the homeland.

Present there were Kim Yong Chol, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Jin Guk, director of the Agency of Overseas Korean Affairs, and officials concerned.

Kim Yong Chol in a speech said that President Kim Il Sung built the country, once eclipsed on the world map, into a dignified invincible power of Juche, the people's country.

He expressed firm belief that the overseas Koreans would turn out as one in the patriotic great advance to bring earlier the new morning of national reunification on this land as desired by the great leaders, true to the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Hong In Hum, chairman of the Central Audit Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, in a speech said that Generalissimo Kim Il Sung formed the first overseas compatriots organization of Juche type and led them along a genuine patriotic road.

He noted that the history of the noble patriotism and compatriotic feelings of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il is given steady continuity along with the history of the Juche-based overseas compatriots movement as it is led by Kim Jong Un.
