Present there on invitation were figures of the Russian State Duma, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, "A Just Russia", the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia, the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks, the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Culture, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia, the Russian Railways Company, the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK.

Present there were the DPRK ambassador to Russia and his embassy officials.

The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before an art work depicting the President and leader Kim Jong Il standing together and paid homage to them.

They looked round the photos dealing with exploits of the President, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Arefiyev, vice-chairman of the Economic Policy Committee of the Russian State Duma, said at the reception:

Comrade Kim Il Sung is the father of socialist Korea.

He is the great leader who devoted his life to the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence.

And he provided the origin of the traditional Russia-DPRK friendly and cooperative relations.

We see eye-opening events taking place in the DPRK.

The reality proves that the DPRK has a good prospect for its development.

The Russia-DPRK friendly relations will continue boosting.
