Present there were Fumihiro Himori, chairman of the Japan Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea, Singo Kanemaru, secretary for policy of Sin Kanemaru, former vice-president of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan, Seizaburo Ekuchi, representative of the Tokyo-Pyongyang Rainbow Bridge, and other officials of organizations for friendship with the Korean people and reporters of Japan and other countries.

Present there on invitation were Nam Sung U, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, and Jang Pyong Thae, rector of Korean University.

Fumihiro Himori made a speech at the meeting.

He paid the highest tribute to President Kim Il Sung who devoted himself to socialist construction, national reunification and peace and stability in Northeast Asia under the unfurled banner of independence on the occasion of his 104th birth anniversary.

There took place an explanation about the 60 year-long history of Korean University, the Juche-based overseas compatriots university, which was built and has grown under the benevolent care of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Then followed a reception.

The participants went round various places of the university on the same day.
