Floral Tribute Paid to Portrait of Smiling Kim Il Sung

| Pyongyang, April 20 (KCNA) -- An event for laying a floral basket before a portrait of smiling President Kim Il Sung was sponsored by the Organization of Solidarity of the Peoples of Africa, Asia and Latin America on April 13 on the occasion of his birth anniversary. Present at the event were members of the organization, the representative of the Communist Party of Chile residing in Cuba and the DPRK ambassador to Cuba and members of his embassy. The participants laid a floral basket before a portrait of smiling Kim Il Sung and paid tribute to him. The general secretary of the organization extended warm congratulations to the Korean people on the birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung. He said: The organization has expressed full support and solidarity with the Korean people in their just cause since its founding. We regard it as our great honor and pride to have the portrait of smiling Kim Il Sung at the building of our organization. We fully support the inauguration of the preparatory committees worldwide for celebrating with splendor the 105th birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung and the 75th birth anniversary of HE Kim Jong Il. |
