Chanai Longoen, chairman of the Thailand-DPRK Friendship Association, noted the President is boundlessly praised and revered by the world people as well as the Korean people century after century.

The chairman added:

The President was a great pioneer of the era of independence and a veteran statesman of the world who founded the Juche idea and indicated the path for humankind.

He fought the anti-Japanese armed struggle to liberate Korea under the uplifted banner of Juche, led to victory the building of a new country, the Fatherland Liberation War, the post-war rehabilitation and construction and the socialist construction and thus built a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence in Korea.

Saber Ballul, head of department of the Political Faculty of University of Damascus, said the President set a good example for the revolutionaries over the world by dedicating his all to the prosperity of the country and happiness of the people throughout his life.

He performed great exploits for the country and revolution and rendered positive support to the progressive people of the world in their anti-imperialist, anti-U.S. struggle out of his noble sense of internationalism, the head of the department noted, and went on:

The present happy life of the Korean people is impossible without the President. He will always be alive in the hearts of not only the Korean people but the world people like the sun.
