Preparatory Committee for 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu Formed in Mongolia

| Pyongyang, April 20 (KCNA) -- A Mongolian preparatory committee for the 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu was inaugurated in Ulan Bator on April 13. J. Lomvo, former Mongolian ambassador to the DPRK, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize colorful political and cultural events in the capital city and local areas to observe the 60th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung's first visit to Mongolia this year and the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star (the birth anniversaries of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il) next year. |
