The President regarded independence as his revolutionary faith and formulated it as the principle and mode of the revolution and thoroughly embodied it into revolutionary practices.

The DPRK shattered all the counterrevolutionary offensives of the imperialist reactionaries and interference of left and right opportunists under the complicated situation and attained proud successes in the two revolutionary wars and postwar reconstruction and two-stage social revolution and socialist construction. This is a clear proof of the vitality and invincibility of the line of independence consistently maintained by the President.
