Displayed at the venues were photos documenting the exploits of Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and their works, and photos and publications introducing the struggle of the servicepersons and people of the DPRK.

The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the pictures depicting the great leaders standing together and paid tribute to them.

Zabed Ansari, secretary general of the Karachi Branch of the Pakistan-Korea Friendship Association, said in a report that the President founded the Juche idea, Songun idea and built a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence and made undying contribution to the cause of global independence.

Mincho Minchev, chairman of the Bulgarian Communists' Party and chairman of the Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association, noted the President is still alive in the hearts of the Korean people and the world progressives for his immortal exploits.

Alhassan Mamman Muhammad, chairman of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, noted that the cause of independence, Songun and socialism pioneered by the President is being steadfastly carried forward by Kim Jong Un. He is bringing about ceaseless eye-opening events, decisively meeting the challenges of the hostile forces, the chairman added.

Congratulatory messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meetings.
