The group laid bouquets before the mosaic depicting the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu before paying tribute to them.

They went round the historical relics associated with the exploits Kim Il Sung performed by choosing the site for the first arsenal in the liberated country and exploring the untrodden path for the self-reliant national defense industry.

At the end of the visit the head of the group said:

We looked back with deep emotion on the painstaking efforts made by Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for founding and developing the Juche-oriented national defence industry and their undying exploits.

Kim Il Sung was an illustrious commander and peerless patriot who laid a firm foundation for building a powerful national defence industry.

We will certainly usher in a new heyday of Chongryon by remaining loyal to the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un who is making a new history of victory of Songun Korea with the might of the Paektusan army.

The congratulatory group also toured the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace, the Pyongyang Baby Home and Orphanage, the Jangchon Vegetable Co-op Farm in Sadong District, etc.
