At her first appearance at a meeting of chief secretaries on April 18 after the puppet National Assembly election, Park Geun Hye went so impudent as to ask the "National Assembly" "to be hard-working" and to call for "uninterrupted promotion of reform", far from uttering words of repentance after facing a stern judgment made by the public, the statement said, and went on:

Far from apologizing to the nation for her criminal act of pushing the north-south ties into the worst catastrophe and pushing the situation on the Korean peninsula to the eve of a nuclear war, Park blustered that it is the time for "the ruling and opposition to take united action" to cope with the "north's sudden provocation".

By mobilizing her yes-men in the "Saenuri Party" which looks like a mourner's house, Park is trying to seize the position of the No. 1 party by bringing together independent elects whom she had purged. She is, at the same time, instigating the puppet prosecution to stage the farce of investigating violations of the election law in a wicked bid to expel those elected from the opposition parties and to make the democratic pro-reform forces timid.

Such desperate move of Park is an open negation of the election results, an open challenge to the stern judgment made by the south Korean people and an intolerable mockery of the desire and wish of all the Koreans for peace and reunification of the Korean peninsula.

All facts clearly prove that nothing will change in the plight of the south Koreans and the north-south relations will be pushed into a more uncontrollable phase and the whole nation would not be able to escape the disaster of a nuclear war if the Park group is allowed to go reckless.

The south Koreans of all social standings irrespective of isms and partisan interests and strategies are required to mercilessly foil the self-righteous, high-handed and arbitrary practices of the Park group which is committing thrice-cursed crimes, defying the people's mindset.

They should also courageously turn out in the nationwide struggle in unity to throw overboard the Park group, the biggest trouble-makers, as it is pushing the situation on the Korean peninsula to the dangerous point of explosion while rendering the confrontation between the fellow countrymen extremely tense.

The Park group should clearly understand that its continued unpopular rule and confrontation with the fellow countrymen in defiance of the people's mindset and the trend of the times will bring it to a final ruin amid bitterer curses and denunciation by all the Koreans including those in south Korea.
