Hero Kim, lecturer at the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, addressed that the freedom and sovereignty of the country were honorably defended in the Fatherland Liberation War as the service personnel and people of the DPRK beat back the gangster-like U.S. imperialists that boasted of being the "strongest" in the world, thanks to the Juche-oriented military idea, superb war methods and strategies indicated by President Kim Il Sung.

In the days of the war, the President traveled to the forefront area and taught the fighters the Juche-oriented and original war methods suited to the terrain conditions of the country, the weaponry of the People's Army and modern war, he said.

He recalled he shot down five jets of the enemy within 20 odd days through the aircraft-hunting team movement initiated by the President and had the honor to receive the title of DPRK hero.

Marshal Kim Jong Un is carrying forward the exploits the great leaders performed by leading the war to victory and leading the Songun revolution, the hero added.
