Coal-mining complexes in Hamnam, Chonnae and Kangdong over-fulfilled their production plan, each by 34, 18 and 12 percent.

Also, signal achievements have been made in the coal mine construction.

Coal mines in the western area of the country developed new pits, each with hundreds of thousands of tons of capacity, and furnished them with belt-conveyor, winch and all other kinds of equipment.

Meanwhile, Tukjang, Tokchon, Sunchon and Songnam coal-mining machine factories and the Unsan Coal-mining Equipment Parts Plant supplied many tubs, equipment parts and small tools to coal mines.
