Present at the events were figures of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle and the Bogor Botanical Garden and masses, and staff members of the DPRK embassy in Jakarta.

The chairman in charge of international relations of the Central Directive Council of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle said that the historic relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries provided by President Sukarno and President Kim Il Sung had been carried forward by General Chairwoman Megawati and HE Kim Jong Il. They are now invariably consolidated by the leaders of the new generation of Indonesia and supreme leader Kim Jong Un, the chairman noted, adding:

Members of the leadership and all members of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle would regard it as their bounden duty to develop generation after generation the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries and two parties provided by the preceding leaders and make all efforts to do so.

The deputy director of the Bogor Botanical Garden said that Kim Il Sung's and Kim Jong Il's visit to the garden was a historical event that laid a solid foundation for friendly relations between the two countries.

Kimilsungia presented to Kim Il Sung by Sukarno who was fascinated by the former's greatness is in fuller bloom as the symbol of friendship between the peoples of the two countries, he stressed.

He expressed his will to widely disseminate Kimilsungia with the honor of working at the garden associated with the historical visit by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
