S. Korean Regime's "Sanctions" against DPRK Will Be Fruitless: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, April 24 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Park Geun Hye group of traitors never drops its hideous confrontational ambition to hurt the compatriots in the north with the backing of outsiders, says Rodong Sinmun Sunday in a commentary. At a recent consultation of vice foreign ministers with the U.S. and Japanese masters in Seoul, the puppet group earnestly asked them to "ratchet up pressure" and "impose tougher sanctions" upon the DPRK, talking about "crucial and urgent issue of dismantling the north's nuclear weapons", "missile threat" and "additional provocation," the commentary notes, and goes on: The consultation, a confab between the U.S. and its lackeys to screw up "sanctions" and "pressure" on the DPRK, is no more than a futile move of the reactionaries of history exasperated by the toughest stand of the DPRK. No matter how desperately the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces may resort to "sanctions", they will never browbeat the DPRK remaining unchanged in its faith despite severe "sanctions" and blockade by the hostile forces. The ever-strong mettle of the great Paektusan nation is smashing the "sanctions" moves of the U.S. and the south Korean puppet regime and dealing a sledge hammer blow to the hostile forces seized with a wild ambition for escalating confrontation. The threadbare "sanctions" racket kicked up by the distracted south Korean regime in collusion with the U.S. and Japan is no more than a foolish act. Their louder talk about "tougher sanctions and pressure" only reveals their uneasiness. |
