The Central Standing Committee of Chongryon formed its measure headquarters for rescuing compatriots who suffered damage done by quake in Kumamoto, set up its emergency measure committee at the Fukuoka Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon near Kumamoto Prefecture to aid disaster-stricken compatriots.

Sympathy money in the name of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon was conveyed to those disaster-hit Koreans.

Officials of the Fukuoka Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon visited the Kumamoto Prefectural Headquarters with aid materials including food and daily necessities prepared by the Chongryon Central Standing Committee.

The chairman and other officials of the Kumamoto Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon visited disaster-hit families to convey sympathy money and aid materials.
