Swiss Organizations Slam Japan's Hostility towards Koreans

| Pyongyang, April 25 (KCNA) -- The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea on April 19 made public a joint statement to vehemently lambaste the Japanese reactionaries' unethical hostile acts against Koreans. The statement said: Ultra-right Japanese reactionaries are floating rumors inciting the anti-Korean sentiment following the powerful earthquake in Kumamoto, Japan. A spokesman for the Committee for Aiding Overseas Compatriots of Korea and a vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) issued statements to vehemently condemn this hideous and malicious act. This shameless misinformation reminds one of the massacres of Koreans by the samurais at the time of the great Kanto quake in September, 1923. This racket is a product of the hostile policy the Japanese authorities persistently pursues towards the DPRK and Chongryon. We should not allow the repetition of the terrible 1923 massacres. |
