Wreathes in the name of supreme leader Kim Jong Un were seen standing on the wreath-laying stands of the cemeteries.

Present at the wreath-laying ceremonies were Kim Yong Nam, Pak Pong Ju and other leading officials of the party, state and army, the chairperson of a friendly party, officials of the party, armed forces and power organs, the Cabinet, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions and service personnel of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces (KPISF) and working people in the city.

The participants laid bouquets before the bust of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong and observed a moment silence in memory of her.

Wreathes in names of the Central Committee of the WPK, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly and the DPRK Cabinet were laid on the wreath-laying stand of the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong, a wreath in the joint name of the C.C., WPK, the Presidium of the SPA and the Cabinet on the wreath-laying stand of the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in Sinmi-ri and a wreath in the joint name of the C.C., WPK, the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the National Defence Commission of the DPRK on the wreath-laying stand "Soul of Heroes" at the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery.

Laid before the cemeteries were wreathes in the names of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, Ministry of People's Security, working people's organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the KPA and KPISF, institutions of science, health and media, and party and power organs, industrial establishments and farms in the city.

The participants paid silent tribute to the fallen fighters and looked round the cemeteries.

On the same day wreathes were placed before the statues of the martyrs, cemeteries of the fallen fighters, monuments to the fallen soldiers of the KPA and cemeteries of fallen fighters across the country.
