The statement said:

The Japanese reactionaries following the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK is working hard to crack down on Chongryon as their all moves against the DPRK proved futile.

They are leaving no means untried to tarnish the image of Chongryon by letting police search the Korean primary, middle and high schools and offices of the economic body under Chongryon under unreasonable pretext.

They are also mulling suspending the payment of subsidies for the Korean schools.

We strongly denounce the Japanese reactionaries' moves as the blatant violation of the sovereignty of an independent state and unethical crimes.

We strongly urge the Japanese reactionaries to immediately stop their politically-motivated suppression and persecution of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan.

We call on the governments and organizations of all countries of the world to denounce Japan's unethical acts and send firm solidarity to Chongryon's just struggle for national right.
