Present at an opening ceremony of the library were members of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain and masses of all strata.

The reporter and speakers including Alejandro Cao de Benos, chairman of the association, said that Kim Il Sung founded the immortal Juche idea, built a power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in defence and leader Kim Jong Il firmly defended the country's sovereignty and socialist cause with his original Songun politics and provided the eternal foundation for building a thriving nation.

They stressed that the cause of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il is being successfully carried forward by supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

They called for sprucing up the library and giving wide publicity to the undying feats of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu.

The participants watched the Korean film "Grand Celebration of 70th Founding Anniversary of Workers' Party of Korea in Presence of Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un" after looking around the library.
