It has paid deep attention to the achievements made by the Korean people under the guidance of the WPK, the statement said, affirming the will to wage worldwide joint struggle against the U.S. arbitrary practices and aggression moves.

Syria and the DPRK have conducted joint struggle against the enemies, it noted, extending full solidarity to the WPK, the government of the DPRK and the friendly Korean people in their struggle for building a thriving socialist nation and defending the sovereignty of the country under the leadership of First Secretary of the WPK Kim Jong Un.

It went on:

The Syria's Baath Arab Socialist Party supports the WPK and the government of the DPRK in their efforts to reunify Korea, avert a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula and protect regional peace and security.

It urges the U.S. to roll back its hostile policy toward the DPRK and respond to the DPRK's proposal for replacing the Armistice Agreement by a peace accord.
