Chongryon Continues Helping Disaster-Hit Koreans in Japan
Tokyo, April 27 (KNS-KCNA) -- Officials of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) keep rendering help to the compatriots who suffered damage done by the quake in Kumamoto area, Kyushu, Japan to bring their living to normal.

The chairman of the Kumamoto Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon, officials of the Fukuoka Prefectural Headquarters of the Korean Youth League in Japan and an official of the Fukuoka Prefectural Chamber of Commerce visited disaster-stricken compatriots to convey sympathy money and relief materials in the name of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon on April 25.

On April 26, officials including the chairman and the chief secretary of the Central Standing Management Board of the Korean Youth Commercial Association conveyed sympathy money and relief materials to disaster-hit Koreans on the spot.

The Korean youth commercial associations across Japan are launching a fund-raising campaign to aid disaster-hit Koreans and organizations and compatriots including the Central Standing Council of the Union of Korean Educational Association in Japan, Kyushu Korean Middle and High School and mothers societies of Korean schools at various levels are sending sympathy money to disaster-hit Koreans.
